Trail's End

Soft Pastel on Uart sanded paper. The long shadows and layered greenery of this scene along a river bank trail, really caught my eye. I enjoyed the process and challenged myself to work only with a handful of warm and cool greens, relying on heavy contrast and stroke style to build depth and texture. I learned a lot while working on this one.
