It’s Almost a New Day
This painting is from a photo I took from my parents’ “widows walk” on the roof of their house. It’s actually a sunset- I have just gone through a divorce and am working through grief and putting to rest 20 years of my life. The title speaks to seeing hope in the ending of things… that a new day is going to begin once this one has closed. And if I look through the eyes of Hope, the end of something can be just beautiful, even through a film of tears.
