Pack It In
This is the view from the head of my parents’ driveway, and every summer when thunderstorms pass through, I have thought, ‘I have GOT to capture the purple against that vibrant green!’ Only in the summer do those greens and purples juxtapose so brilliantly. So when I look at this piece, all of my sensory memories are piqued- I see drama, I hear rumbling, I smell the salt air, and I feel the shade and wind and relief from the oppressive heat. Mount Vision has a wonderful “thunderstorm set” that I used for this piece.
