My daughter, who is now 23 years old, has always loved eating Pan Dulce, a Mexican sugar coated pastry. Now as she is furnishing her first apartment, I chose to paint her favorite pastry as a reminder of a fond family tradition to the local Mexican bakery. I used PanPastel to develop the rich colors of the delicate, multi-colored sugar toppings of this display of Pan Dulce or Sweet Bread.
