Going Green

I love nature and when I saw the photo of this sweet frog sitting on a tree branch, I knew I had to paint it! Originally, I had it taped off around the perimeter which is where you can see the "framed" effect. Some of the pastel has oozed out beyond the tape when I removed it so it inspired me to extend the branch beyond the taped off area and I love the effect it gave the overall piece...like the frog almost wants to leap off of the page!
