My first trip to New Mexico and from the gorge, this magnificent storm was brewing in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. I was awestruck as the huge drops of rain began to fall. I used UArt paper with an alcohol/pastel underpainting. The pastels I used were Nupastel, Great American, Rembrandt and Terry Ludwig.
