A Piece of Cloud Floats Down And Settles By Your Head
This is based off a photo I took of my roommate’s cat Marshmallow. I was lying on the floor after a particularly bad day when she suddenly appeared and settled in the doorway. It felt like a gift, so I snapped a photo. This is pastel on black UArt 400, no underpainting. I thought the black paper might help contribute to the dark moody hallway and also help Marshmallow and any light in the picture pop more.
